Renee Washington wears many hats within broadcasting and outside of it. She has worked in all roles within sports broadcasting in digital, social, and tv coverage. She is a sports reporter with 6ABC-Action News in Philadelphia, as well as a contributing writer with BET. She is an analyst and sideline reporter with ESPN covering men's and women's college athletics. Renee also hosts a podcast, Beyond the Headlines with Renee Washington with Fox Sports Radio.

Born in Princeton, NJ, and still, in south Jersey, she has covered the WNBA, MLS, NFL, NBA, NLL, and college athletics. Additionally, she is the founder of Planted, not Buried which is an organization that helps educate, inspire, and empower people through resources, events, and opportunities. She is an author, motivational speaker, and model.

Prior to her career in broadcasting, Renee was a three-time all-American D1 soccer player with a prestigious career that led to her being named into the La Salle Hall of Fame. She still holds many records at the University. She had an opportunity to play with Sky Blue FC (now Gotham FC) in the NWSL before deciding to coach division 1 soccer at Lehigh University.
