Looking for a Literature Researcher to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with offices nationwide. As a researcher, part of a research and documentation team, you will analyze data and research resulting in comprehensive reports to support regulatory and other policy-making decisions. You will keep project management fully informed on the status and progress of various initiatives. With the assistance and under the guidance of other project managers, you will design and document requirements and business processes to enable staff to perform literature reviews, peer reviews, and analysis duties.
Conduct literature reviews to support regulatory and non-regulatory policy and program decisions.
Searches literature, information systems, and other information sources to gather data on environmental issues and topics.
Collects, analyzes, and summarizes data to identify trends and relationships and their impacts on problems and organizations.
Performs assignments under the supervision of a manager or Senior Technician.
Familiarity with principles or precautions needed for the particular assignments.
May supervise other Researchers, Technicians, or Clerical personnel.
Public Trust eligibility.
High School Diploma (Associates Degree preferred).
0-1 year of experience in a relevant field (i.e., environmental science, natural resources management, etc.).
Conducting literature reviews.
Data Collection and analysis.
